Sorry, this was meant to go up yesterday but after a number of issues, it had to wait until today. It’s by far my favourite illustration for The Cat magazine to date because of the use of negative space (Can you see the cat in this pic?). The story was submitted to the editorial team from a lady who had lost her husband but was comforted by the continuing love from the cat they had adopted together. A very sweet story and a pleasure to illustrate.
